Speak Your Mind on the Virginia Budget in Person

We are very, very close to losing the state sales Tax exemption for filmmakers!!!! The state government pulled a switcher-o and we're in trouble.. if the state loses the sales Tax exemption (every other state offers it to filmmakers), then that could keep ALL film projects from coming to the state at all!

Please read the below info and if you can attend any of these meetings, to show support of the film industry in Virginia, please CALL the film office and let them know you can come and support them! All they need to know is potential numbers of people who can come... this is VERY important to keep films being made in Virginia!

Numbers are key to this being a success!!!!!!!!!

Virginia.

I am passing along this list, urging you to share with delegates and senators what you have been telling me:

At this juncture, the biggest difference between the House and Senate budget plans is the level of funding for public

Please use these opportunities to remind the people you sent to Richmond what your priorities are.
